About Us
Meet Rachel and Chris
Rachel Zacharie — Co-Founder
Rachel Zacharie brings a relationship-centered approach to strategic partnerships, business development and commercial energy-project origination at Convergent Energy Alliance. Her experience includes identifying opportunities, developing trusted industry relationships, coordinating financing and technical resources, and helping clients navigate the many decisions required to move a project forward.
Before co-founding Convergent, Rachel held senior leadership roles focused on integration, commercial strategy and customer experience within the renewable-energy industry. She has supported opportunities involving commercial solar, battery storage, EV infrastructure and emerging financing structures, working across clients, contractors, developers, lenders and technical specialists to create alignment and maintain momentum.
Rachel’s strength lies in seeing both the larger vision and the people needed to realize it. She believes successful projects are built through clear communication, thoughtful collaboration and a shared commitment to practical outcomes. At Convergent, she focuses on strategic partnerships, project origination, client advocacy and assembling the right combination of expertise and resources for each opportunity.
Her approach reflects one of Convergent’s founding principles: meaningful progress happens when capable people bring their unique strengths together around a shared purpose.
Chris Ebersberg — Co-Founder
Chris Ebersberg brings more than two decades of renewable-energy, construction and business-development experience to Convergent Energy Alliance. His career spans residential, commercial, agricultural, community and utility-scale energy projects, including solar, battery storage, EV charging and demand-management solutions.
Chris has built and led high-performing sales organizations, developed strategic contractor and supplier relationships, and helped originate renewable-energy opportunities representing more than $100 million in potential project value. At Sunrun, he built and led a 45-person sales organization and helped increase regional monthly revenue from approximately $500,000 to $5 million within 30 months. He has also taught renewable-energy estimating at Red Rocks Community College.
At Convergent, Chris focuses on business development, project assessment and assembling the technical, construction, financing and supplier resources needed to create practical, financially sound and buildable solutions.
